I think you need to go with your gut feeling when buying a bike, you made the right decision.

My brother got one similar, K2  nice blue paint drag pipes, pullback bars, big bore kit, lower sissy bar, skinny seat, 6" over forks.  $800 all in all nice bike. He's going to ride it as is just to see how it rides. It had trailer lights on it, uuuuglieee.  we returned it to a Honda tail light and winkers.
