Machined carrier of the cbr900 disk to fit the cb500 hub.

As per retro's advice, I've aquired an 86' gsxr 750 arm, and half way through the sorting so that it fits the honda.

Question retro if you're watching. What did you do for the hardened pivot pin carriers in the bearings in terms of sizes? I've pressed in 14mm shims, but i'd be curious to know.

After this it goes back to the machinist to get the spacers made, a bit of welding and ta daa. Box alloy swingarm.

Looks great Bob. Do those discs have the same offset as the stockers or do you have to shim them out a bit.?
Can't remember what i did for the swingarm bushes mate, it was 10 years ago..... :o   I could pull it off the frame and have a look but i can't remember..... :o

Thanks matey, no, same offset. Only difference is the disk thickness. I'm an idiot and have to mill out the center from 58mm to 60.1mm tonight. Sticking to single disk but upgrading the calliper to a twin opposed brembo off an old beemer.
