Sam, isn't it like waaaay past your bedtime? Or is it time for the morning cup of tea?  I can never get the hang of international correspondence.

Things are good. Weather is finally behaving and my drunken friends can't seem to stop dropping their bikes everywhere, which keeps me up to my elbows in CB750 fun. I'll be installing a front end, engine covers, and repairing bent stuff on my buddy's K4 this week and look forward to wrenching on something besides an F2 for a change.

The current project( the one that will get dyno'ed, I swear ;)) is moving along at a leisurly snails pace. I've got the '82 cb900 front fender modded to fit the '80 750 forks. Double puck brakes for up front and working on getting double pucks fitted for the rear(all '82 cb750 supersport brakes). Steering damper bracket is welded on finally and looking to brace the frame at the rear, above the swingarm.

I've got everything for the engine except the cam and cylinders. I should have the cylinders back soon and can start tearing down and rebuilding the engine. I've done this enough times lately that it has become the quickest and easiest part of the build.

Then I'll just have to wait for Terry to resurface, hopefully with some rearsets and tank he has been kind enough to muck with, and it will be off to the races ;D

Had any more chances to don those Wicked White Leathers? Those pics you linked to were great.
Give me..a frame to build a bike on, and my imagination will build upon that frame

Sean, don't forget I am a night worker. It's 2am here when you are coming off your day job.  ;D

The white leathers are only for serious mode, this year I will be doing some development work on my smaller bikes, so it's back to the old leathers for that.

I am having a bigger motor built for the RS and if its fast enough I might get serious and don them again ;)

Hi Sam

Noel's still working away getting the pipes right. Last week wee set up the rear end with chain, brake anchor to make sure we get the required clearances.

Carpy got hold of a chrome gas tank cap to fit the airtech tank for me, turned up in the mail early this week.

So - making progress slowly, Noel's had to put in 10hr days in his business lately to keep up with the demand for his maching services...

Put a little more info on the headwork I've done on the Cr page on my website yesterday.

Cheers,

Andy

Don't worry Andy, it took us a full two weeks to build ours ;D ;D ;D and that was just evenings ::) ::) ::)
You'll get there in the end. ;)
Did Airtech not get back to you ? they never answered my letter, looks like I will have to build my own streamliner :(

Make the plug, make the mould, make the streamliner, it's a lot of work. :( :'(
