I'm a huge Indycar fan and have felt bummed out all day.  From all accounts, he was a great guy on and off the track. And I heard he was set to sign a deal w/Andretti to take over Danica's ride.  RIP Dan, you will be missed.

That was a pretty heinous crash.  Thoughts to his family...

This accident brought back a lot of sad memories; Greg Moore, Gilles Villeneuve, Ayrton Senna, just to mention a few.  :'(
I believe Dave Despain summoned better when he said on sunday night something around this: "Even when I feel bad for the loss of life, my true sorrow is for the survivors (meaning wife and kids)"
God speed Dan, your talent and personality will be missed.
