OK...here is a question to take us off the beaten path a bit.

In the 60's there was a song written about the Honda.

1.) Who wrote it?
2.) Who recorded it?
3.) What was the year?

Geez Johnie your mean. A lot of our members probably were not even born yet when that song came out.  ;D  All I can say though is that bike better of had just one cam----Could be grounds for a question disqualification.    :o

That was sort of a trick question because many don't consider a sandcast a K model but rather a cb750 only.

If you eliminate the sandcast then it would be the K8 at 36,000.

Seem to see quite a few of those K8's still around. Love for the old SOHC was dwindling by then, damn Kawasaki's,time kind of caught up with her.

Here are the production stats. Pretty interesting stuff. I see it was the K5 which was at 35,000.

Honda wasn't always perfect.  Several thousand first run imports were crushed because Honda didn't understand the U S safey and polution rules.  They were quite embarrassed and vowed to return to this market.  Seen one lately.

Some of those little Honda cars were sold for off road use only. A dude in California used them like go carts on a track. I think there was an ad in the back of Hot Rod.

It's been a long time since  last watched that movie, but I know the movie was the Terminator.  But I can't for the life of me recall the bike or mods to it.

EDIT:
I think the only mod to the bike was a small fairing on the front, and I guess you could say the rifle strapped to the side was a modification too. ;)
