1980 Goldwing 1100.  They were made in Marysville Ohio, until the 2012 model.  Now they are made back in Japan.

I was lucky enough to tour the Marysville plant when they were doing the Wing. It was an awesome sight to see all those Wings lined up and moving down the assembly line. To bad they had to pull from the USA.

What were the colors of each of the pre-production bikes at the their famous dealer convention introduction in Las Vegas in 1969?

There were three different color bikes.  One was dark green with a gold stripe on the top of the tank (it was the closest to the actual production bikes).  The second was a silver with a dark red stripe, and the last one was an all blue bike.

Candy ruby red, candy blue-green and candy green (ala K1) all w/ sunny gold stripes. The candy gold w/ white stripe was shown in Europe only.

I always wondered if this was the same bike as Ekpent posted above?

In this picture, note how the UK style front and rear number plates are now present. The handlebars, taillight, master cylinder have been changed. While the unique pointed style turn signal lenses and oil tank cap remain the same. The photo date shows 1969.

I find it amazing that the bike's master cylinder would have faded that much in less than a year.

I also see the early frame with horn on left.
Different shaped front caliper, oil cap, valvecover, and I wonder if the m/c has a hard or rubber line.
Looks to me (now) like the gold color was in the works, but probably die to response was intriduced later at the 19,*** serial numbers

The K0 master cylinder and front caliper were silver from the factory. They went black in late K0 production.

Pretty sure most of the sandcasts had black masters and silver calipers.

Maybe only the proto's had the silver master.
You can see it here.

Steve

Well, not quite: my mentor Jim Chamberlain had a sandcast in 1969, with silver both. And, my first K1, in summer 1970, had silver master and black caliper. My K2, also a very early one, has black both.

How about the 1996 Honda GW Aspencade from the Marysville, OH plant. I toured that plant and it was so cool.
