Honda CB1000/GSXR Cafe Racer coming along
« on: October 16, 2011, 05:08:09 AM »
Hi Everyone,

I've been a member for a while but this is the first time I have posted. My new project is a 1973 Honda CB750 with a Cycle X 1000cc big bore kit with other engine goodies inside. Stock frame with 2007 GSXR complete front end and 2007 GSXR rear wheel on a 1992 GSXR swing arm. This is not a hard swap just requires a little machine work. This will be my 2nd cafe build. My first is a cycle X equipped 849 big bore kit that is just plain scary fast. I make a lot of custom parts for our CB750's would like to share photos but can't find where I can post the photos at. Any help would be great.

Thanks, Craig

Welcome to the forum Craig  ;D  Can't wait to see what you come up with, Glen Kinley (we both know "Alien" BTW) gave me your card a while back and I've been meaning to run up to Sarasota to talk your ear off a little.

As for pics, if you're hosting on photobucket, it's a simple copy and paste of a link with image tags. The second button on the middle row above your reply posting makes it a little simpler still, then all you need to do is insert the web address of your picture.  VV Should look like this VV

{ img } www.whateversiteyouhoston.com/picture.jpg { /img }  ( replace { } with [ ]  ) and you get something like this....

Hey Welcome. I'm highly interested to see this come together. Have you fit the 92 gsxr swingarm already?  Any details in this area interest me- I'd like to know what it took to fit that swingarm. Thanks.
