You're a rather ambushes fellow and your efforts seem to be paying off.
Do you have any drawings of what you want the finished bike to look like or are you shooting from the hip?
I have a complete set of drawings ...... in my head , and they are constantly changing

Groovy, that's where I keep most of my drawings.

BTW; you may want to reinforce those rear-set mounts; it's been my experience that that smaller tubing back there will bend easily.

Cauling , next . really not that much to it , just formed it in styrofoam , and covered with tape .
This is placed on top of a layer of fiberglass i laid last night over the rear frame, so this is what its going to look like :

That might do the trick?

A slow week for the build so far ( because its a really busy week at work , have to finish two new apartments by next Thursday , to hand over to the new owners .......long days ) , but i managed to squeeze in a couple of hours , and made the seatpan .
Like the industrial look , but my GF might not like the ricegrain pattern of the alu plates on my ass , so i think i better have it padded  ;D ;D ;D
laid the last layers of fiberglass on the cauling also , so that's pretty much done , progress  :)

Managed to squeeze in a couple of hours again today .
Put some fiberglass bondo on the tank and caulig , and sanded it down , starting to get close to smooth now , so i put on a coat of primer to have a look at the tank while the primer was glossy and get an idea of where i needed to do more work (plus its nice to see it all in one colour to get an impression of the final look).
laid some padding on the seatpan , and got it ready for the upholsterer , it will be made up in black vinyl with black stitching (i think ).

Any comments on the lines and look are welcome , i really would appriciate ideas now before i start painting and upholsteing , and its all to late  :)

My thought is that is amazing. Holy #$%*. You sure you don't do this for a living? The lines alone from the padding making it pop. Cleanest lines from the upper hoop to the start of the tank indents couldn't flow any better.

The lines are Amazing!  I am digging the white.  The seat would looke great black with white stitching with white tins.  Great work!

Looking very good.  I'm partial to white myself, but I think it would hide the lines a bit.  Maybe something light metallic?

Thanks for the feedback gentlemen  :)
Really having a tough debate with myself about colours , it is supposed to be the nazgul , the dark rider , so i intended on charcoal and flat black , with brushed steel/aluminium details , no chrome or polish at all .
But now im really in doubt , maybe it should go in a totally different direction , white or light gray , maybe white frame , white seat , lightgrey tank and cauling , and then some bling ?

You obviously have the skills so keep it dark.. How about a carbon fiber look on tank and tail and keep the rail polished looking.. IMO flat black, ehh. You work is incredible might want to show it off. Carbonfiber look all the way

I'll throw in my 2 cents...

White frames get dirty/dingy very quickly.   I'd either do it black or maybe bling the frame up with a fake chrome or nickel.   You'll be surprised the cool colors and finishes that powder coat can do these days.

Maybe coat the frame a nickel color and then you could carefully scuff it in a uniform direction to give the appearance of stainless steel etc.

You can also mimic the finish on the side covers by just running scotch-brite in the same direction across the surfaces.   Easy to keep them that way as well - you just hit them with the scotch-brite when they start getting dirty.

Black frames NEVER look bad.

I am not a fan of dark charcoal on tins or body panels.   It sounds like a good idea, but I find that it hides the lines and just looks kinda blah from a distance.    It always needs some sort of highlight color to go with it.     Dark charcoal, to me, just doesn't look right on vintage machines.

Black tins ALWAYS look good, but you see a bunch of them.  What if you did a very, very dark metallic midnight blue ?    Paired with a nickel frame and all the shineyness of the side covers - that could work.  Still look menacing.

White tins.....  I go back and forth on.  They usually all end up very visually striking, but always leaves me wanting more.  My first custom paint job on one of my bikes (an old Suzuki GT750) was white with a bit of pearl.   White and chrome / polished aluminum has a unique look - but hardly menacing.

Good looking bike.   Can't wait to see it finished up.  I especially like the tail section and the inserts on  the tank.   Color is always the hardest for me to pick out.

Again, just my 2 cents.    Gonna be a fun bike.  Well done.

Thought you might get a kick out of this: you're not the first one to have a Nazgul-themed bike, but obviously a CB750 is a way cooler bike than this Harley. They used a combination of gloss and flat black, which might be something to think about. I agree with previous members saying no to white: if you're staying true to your theme, there's nothing white about the Nazguls.

Thanks for the feedback guys , you got me through my white period  ;) it WILL be dark and menacing ( btw it wouldn't have been the honda gandalf , rather the honda galdriel  ;D )
It will be black, dark grey and brushed metal , not so shire how dark yet , what colour code system is used in the US ?  We use the RAL system for powdercoat :
http://www.ralcolor.com/
I'm thinking about Ral 7016 Anthracite grey or Ral 7021 black grey for one of the colours and Ral 9011 grpithe black for the other, but what goes where , black frame, rims and seat with grey tins or the other way around ?
I actually did a search  for nazgul motorcycle the other dayand found the same one linked ab owe  :) like the look but a little to "complex" and refined to be the raw , brutal look I'm after if you know what i mean .

Finished welding the upper shock mounts today , also moved the kickstand forward about four inches so it lines up more nicely with the frame .
I also cut of the centerstand , can you belie it , it weighed almost 3 kgs ( 6 lbs)  , and got the engine out , so only minor touching up now and the frame should be off to powdercoat hopefully next week if i can decide on colour .

Brakediscs of a 96 cbr 600rr bought on ebay , all new bearings ordered and delivered from all balls ( stem , front ( yamaha R6 ) and Beck wheel ( std 550 ) ) , its coming together slowly .
I'm heading over to LA in January so i plan to pick up most of the engine parts there  , and pack it in my luggage , to save some freight , and the 25% vat i have to pay on anything i have shipped over in the mail .

You've got a great eye for lines of the bike and complimenting them with the tank and tail. I really like the way the tank matches the down tubes and the bottom of the tank looks nice alongside the motor.

I'm with Frankenbike. Start building this stuff!

Hey hey. I just painted my bike. I used gloss black tremclad mixed with aluminum tremclad and got some pretty cool blends of metallic black/charcoal/grey. You just mix it with automotive reducer and cover with regular automotive clearcoat. Turned out pretty. Gives you lots of flexibility with colour. I'll have pics up soon on my build thread.

Looking very good, I'm watching with a lot of interest.

The exposed hoop on the seat bump is a really cool touch.
