Yeeees its alive :) :)
I had gotten the cam set 90 degrees off beacause of the difference in the timing mark on the 650 and 550 cranks , but with that sorted it starts at first kick :)
Wery happy today

Get the MAC to get it on the road. You can work on the stainless pipes over time as a great upgrade and really take your time in getting it right.   8)

Very nice.

There's nothing more expensive than a free bike...
FWIW, I'm not a shill for Race Tech - I've just got a thing for good suspension and the RTCE's are the most cost-effective mod for these old damping rod front ends.

So , winter passed , and spring is here .
Did i get stuff done on the bike ?  Not really ......... But now im getting it done :)
Exhaust test mounted , yes its the mac , will have to modify a little , but it will be good to go soon .
Missing the exhaust flanges though , the 550 ones will not fit , bigger pipe diameter and larger spacing on the bolts  :(
Anyone know if the 650 and 750 flanges are the same  , its just easier to get the 750 ones ?
