Isle of Vashon TT September 11, 2011

Rumor has it that the Isle of Vashon will be on September 11 this year. Who is in? We should should plan a meeting place/time so we can mob over on the ferry together.

We can meet at my place or near by for the guys in the south.  I have a few guys crashing at my place for the ride.

I hope somebody posts some pics. Started hearing bikes go by the house around 6 in the morning and pretty much steady until about 10.

I didn't make it, decided to take the boat out instead since it was so nice out.

For anyone who missed it, the Isle of Vashon was a riot last weekend. One of the best vintage motorcycle events in the country.

There were thousands of bikes of all stripes.



It amazed me that this guy could ride without legs!



One of our own ingenious members completed the poker run with his broken throttle cable MacGyvered to his brake pedal! Brilliant!



Trooper of the year has to go out to this participant.



SOHC4 representation was good.


You never see a motorcycle parked outside of a psychiatrist's office!

That was me! What a fun ride that was. It was a little difficult having to take right hand turns at 1/4 speed because of the vice grips clinging to my brake pedal.
