Terry,
I got a naked Wing. 1975 and really low #. I got it a couple week's ago and rode with 4 other Wing's to Glenwood Springs. What a great ride it was. It was it's mayden voyage. and ran great. I'll have it at the meeting Thursday at the Club 404.

Is that the rusty nuts meet?    Where is the club 404?   Is that a new place or they change names?

Toy,
thank's, it was such a treat to ride except for the massive head wind most of the way. There where 5 of us 84 and older wing's. one had to turn back do to an overheating issue. So 4 carried on to Glenwood Springs. Then one to Reno 4 back to Denver. It was a blast. We rode about 60 miles between rest interval's. If you want to do some reading on it here is a link http://www.nakedgoldwings.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1876  RR, live's in Reno bought a 76 from another member on the board. Flew out there and rode it back. What a trip that would of been. Here are the pics. http://www.nakedgoldwings.com/gallery/get2006 I dont have any resized or I would of post  some up.

Terry,
It's The Denver Rusted Nut's. http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/denverrustednuts/
They welcome anything 20 years and older, We did an Old Bike Run 4th one a yearly event. You had to be on 1975 or older, with few exception's. We do an offical meet first thursday of every month at the club 404 4th and Broadway. And an unofficail one every third friday. It is fun. Hope to see you there.

Thanks for that Paul,

I saw a stock standard '75 nekid on a recent ride and I wanted one. It was the light blue color, fantastic. The '75 is obviously 31 years old. That was the first year of manufacture wasn't it?  Vintage.

My feeling is that every subsequent re-hash of any  particular model just waters down it's essence. But then again, I'm  biased   ;D

Toy,
That is correct. 1975 is the first year. Mine was built in 01/75  :)
I'm keeping mine naked. Already have 1,600 mile's on since 3:00 last Sat. :)  It is great to ride.
