1975 CB750f HELP!
« on: October 24, 2011, 07:06:53 PM »
Hey everybody, need some help!

I'm restoring a '75 CB750F and need a new cylinder head cover.

Anyone know where I can find one? Or if I can use a different year/model cylinder head cover?

Thanks guys!

I would try Ebay that's where I get a lot of used parts. Be sure to ask the seller if he would be so kind as to put a straight edge on it to make sure it is not warped before buying. There are a few in the forums  that "assumed" like myself that the cover was flat only to find when the engine is back in the frame there is a "front of cover oil leak"....which I think happens more often on the chrome covers....also make sure you put the new gasket the right way up too and do a really good job of the install or you will be pulling your hair out like I and others!....Good luck with it!
Sometimes...the hard thing and the right thing are the same thing!

If you are talking about what I call the valve cover then any of them should fit.
