In case any of you are looking for rings, I thought I'd pass this along...

The ONLY place I could find that had STD rings in stock and ready to ship was David Silver Spares. For whatever reason, I always thought David Silver's stuff was high dollar. But it's not true! Even with currency conversion and shipping, it was a good $60 cheaper than what the Honda man wanted for a set of 4. I got them in today. They are Nippon Piston Rings (NPR) and they appear to be of good quality. They arrived in 8 days.

I'm not sure I understand your post. Are you saying DavidSilverspare IS a good deal, or is NOT a good deal in this instance?
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

Sorry if I wasn't clear.

Not only was it a really good deal, it was the only non-Honda parts supplier I could find that had STD rings in stock. Just in case anyone is looking for them.

Yep, David Silver is one of the first places I check for parts.  Not only does he have some of the best prices, but the parts usually get here faster than if I'd ordered them from a supplier in the states.
