CD185?  Should I have heard of that bike?

I think CD is build for asia as the bike is not very big size.

We had the CD185 in the in the early 80s, the UK model had a  different tank it was a sort of more civilised  update on the previous CB175 twin as I remember.Great photographs.

The CD range of bikes were the commuter iterations that Honda made for many international markets. The bikes were plain Jane with deeply valanced fenders, single carbs and usually 6 volt electrics. Hugely popular in the UK in the '70s and '80s. The 185 came along in the late 70s (although I don't know why Honda didn't use the 200 motor from the CB model....?)

The one in the pics may have come from the factory like that (??) in which case I suppose it would rank as one of the first modern retro-looking bikes.

nice pictures marco, ,   i remember the cd175's made them in red and blue for the britsh market , all the old fellas had them for going to work on ,    mick.

We get the part most from David silver spares and ebay.
Guess what?David silver spares came to singapore 10year ago to buy all the vintage honda part back...Now we pay 5 x money to buy back..
