Just a check for the Borrani rim experts. I have located a rim that reads (exactly) Borrani-18x3-Record ...on the shoulder of the rim.
I normally find something like Borrani WM2 or 3/ 1.85 or 2.15 etc. It is an older shouldered rim mounted to the rear hub of a 70's Moto Guzzi. As I haven't found any other vintage 18 by 3" wide Borrani/Record shouldered rims(to this point), I wanted to make sure that this was truely an 18 x 3" wide rim. This would make it a WM5 rim correct?
And Borrani/Record rims are later repros of the original Borrani rims, yes? Are they considered inferior to the originals? When were the Borrani/Records repros produced? 80's?
