Just noted the Beeza has a drum front brake and a disk rear..........this seems a very strange combination?

Hi gang.If I recall, the US riders bikes had drum/disc and the Euro riders machines had disc/disc.  Rock On

Ok then.I stand corrected.I guess it was '71 that I first attended.Unless I am mistaken, didn't some of the team BSA and Triumph bikes have the all disc setup while others had the pictured setup that year? Just wondren.  Rock On

20th September 1970.  http://www.classicmotorcycle.co.uk/news/archive-photo-rich-mixture-at-mallory-september-1970

Media Storehouse show this picture of the Factory production racer Sliper Sam with the same drum brake in 1970.  http://www.mediastorehouse.com/malcolm_uphill_and_the_triumph_trident_1970_production_tt/print/5150671.html

More pics of Sam with discs and road going Trident with stock brakes.  http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71686

The National Motorcycle Museum have a picture of Sam and factory Rob North F1 Trident both with disc brakes.  http://www.ntnoa.org/streamliner.htm

Both disc and drum were available in 70 but I myself can only remember discs.
