When to use heavy cam chain for cb550

At what point, power, rpm, whatever, should a non oem cam chain be used on a cb550?

When you change to a high lift cam and increase the valve spring seat pressures.


...maybe. (I don't know the strength specs for the stock chain or whatever replacement you are considering.)

I'm using a webcam 58a.

I was considering a HD chain.
