greetings from UK
« on: October 29, 2011, 04:46:42 PM »
hi all, newbie to the forum. go on other forum's but didn't "need" to come on here till now. have owned 500/4 and 750/4 in the past, and have decided to recapture my youth and think I've tracked down my old '72 500/4 I had back in '85. it's not been run for 10 years or so and has a 550/4 motor now due to g/box failure I believe. It was one I had just after passing my test. it was a non std wreck when I brought it and still non std when I sold it but far from being a wreck. I'll be along to ask questions, but for now I'm off to see a man about a bike  ;)

I've enticed John over to www.sohc.co.uk and would encourage you too!

Use the same username so that we recognise you.

Congrats on finding your old bike - the odds against that must be enormous.
