I am a new member from New York. Until yesterday I have had 1 1974 CB750 that is my fathers bike, I have done most of the work on the bike with him, often citing this site for help. Yesterday I picked up my own 74 CB750 and figured it was time to join the site. I found the bike for a steal and loved riding my fathers bike, so I picked this one up without hesitation. I was told the bike did not run but after 45 min and some playing around it was running. I plan on making this my project for the next 16-18 months. I grew up working on (holding the flash light for my father and uncle) bikes and cars. Once I started driving they started holding the flashlight for me. I just really started riding this spring and haven't looked back. Now that I own a bike guess who's holding the flashlight? (Strongly my opinion, the best way to learn). A little back round on my fathers and uncles bikes. Dad owns a 74 CB 750 and a 79 GL 1000. My uncle owns a few bikes but only has a 75 Harley FXE (?) custom built hardtail. I know I don't know it all but I have seen a whole lot of knowledge on this site and hope to have my bike up and running soon.
