Hi from Illinois
« on: November 03, 2011, 06:38:36 PM »
Hi all. I'm Jim, from West suburban Chicago.
53 years young, married with 3 sons.

My main toy is the 68 Camaro SS Convetible I'm sitting on in my avatar. She's been done for about 4 years, and I've moved on to a couple other projects, including 2 motorhomes (not at the same time) a Jeep wrangler, and most recently, a CB750k4.

Many years ago, I had a k2 that was a lot of fun, and as part of my ongoing denial of growing older, it seemed time for another.

I found this one on Craigslist last summer, and paid $4k. She's original and complete. After rebuilding the carbs and changing plugs, she runs and drive pretty darned well.
She looks every minute of her near 40 years, and this winter will involve a lot of disassembly, cleaning, and polishing and painting.

Glad to have found this lil corner of the web, and thanks in advance for any welcomes!
