CO2 sprayer?

i was just browsing the internet and came across a CO2 intercooler sprayer

and got to thinking would this work on our bikes somehow? possibly mount it to a oil cooler or even possibly mount it to the front of the motor where the fins are? obviously it will need to be turned down quite a bit so the temp change isn't enough to harm the metal. just thought it might be a cool idea (no pun intended).

also it might come in handy when sitting in traffic to cool the motor a few degrees to keep it happy when their isnt air flowing over it

still working on that part. but i was thinking about using a small paintball tank such as a 4 oz which is 5" tall and 2" diameter (probably would need multiple)

or a 9 oz which is 10.5" tall and 2-1/8" diameter

obviously the system is not going to be large enough for a constant blast of CO2 but might be able to be during situations where the engine is hotter than normal such as heavy traffic or when racing

by cryo2's measurements a 4oz bottle should supply roughly 4.5 seconds of a continuous spray and the 9oz bottle should supply roughly 10 seconds of continuous spray. so wouldn't be an extreme amount of time but in short bursts I'm sure it could help the engine temp immensely especially in racing applications.

Hmmmmm, you could mount that behind one of tintops "anti pod" filters and squirt N2O instead of CO2.... :P

You mean put n2o in the intake. Unless im mistaken but I don't think that would help much with the motor temp. Would increase the hp though

I saw some milky liquid being sprayed on the billet blocks that were being made for Mike Reick ;D ;D ;D ;D
