You might want to have a word with Ken at Cyclexchange.net   Perhaps a modified Bobber frame might work.

This Is the CycleX frame I was thinking about, might be a good start. http://www.cyclexchange.net/index%20pics/new%20bike%204.JPG
One thing you need to remember Tommy, the auto motor is taller than the manual motor and needs more clearance to get it into the frame. Be careful if you buy an old drag frame if it was made for the K model.

That frame is quite nicely made.. D&K was one maker, still have a catalog around somewhere.
Unless its blindingly fast, I would keep it in a stock frame with a street racer look... other wise you end up with a dragbike the new 600 are making look bad!

well....id really like to sell the hondamatic,i like it ,wanna do ,something with it ,but as a street bike it has no title and its a pain in the ...to get one around here.i love old dragbikes though, the hondamatic dragbike on here is the original reason i checked out this site,i own other hondas,a harley ,and a bultaco...soi thought  id check out the dragbike frame thing instead of just customising the original,ya know?but,i dunno, winters are kinda long in indiana,if i dont sell it itll prolly be a street fighter by spring

I'd love to find or make something close to that.  Would love to see the look on some ppls (harley rides) faces as you bomb around town on something like that.

Here's one with a modded CB750 frame we picked up a couple years ago: dummy gas tank shell, extended aluminum swingarm/air tank combo, 18" Borrani front, electric starter cart, early CR tickler carbs, etc. With a few mods to tone it down and with a reinforced stock chassis, we're thinking it might make a cool "pro-street" conversion that we could also run at the strip.

Sorry the pic is so small...  :o  RR
