Actually I really wish I had done before and after pics when I first started on this bike. Basically at the time I was torn whether to play around with it and use it as a free (well cheaper anyways) education or to scrap/part it out...
I mean this thing was beaten!! Sat outside uncovered for 13 years in Canadian winters!!! Seat had disintegrated, no side covers, gas tank was Black rattlecan rust paint (inside of tank was way worse than the inside!!!). I was shocked that it even turned over! Played around in the driveway for a while (drank many beers!) and low and behold I actually got it fired up!
Now I am working on actually getting it to the point that it is road worthy...sorting out blinker issues, rebuilding brakes etc.
What started out more as a challenge by my buddy who had let the thing rot in his driveway has turned more into a passion...
