1995 honda vlx 600 running issues any input would help

the bike has been sitting since may it will start and run only with the choke out all the way. give it throttle and it dies the gas was bad any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sure sounds like it needs a good,complete fuel system flush out & carb. cleaning/rebuild.
