Can anyone put a name to my pipes? I didn't see any in this thread that matched. I did just see a 750 go by on the forum that had the same pipes but I can't find the thread again.

Also would like an answer to this. Didn't see one in the thread. Mine are gutted and rusted. Would like to replace the baffles, as I like the look of the muffler, and would most likely be a lot cheaper.

Circa 2012 Vance & Hines SuperSport pipe , actually made for DOHC bikes but like the SideWinder , it fit ! The Big can aint my favorite and it is going away soon. Replacing it with the CycleX reverse cone.

Oh Hell Steve , I worked after my real job at a small shop for parts and shop time. The Kerkers wholesale were about 275.,, the winning perf pipe was a whopping 125. !!!! Guess which one sold the most ? That was alot of money !! Gas was about .72 for regular!

George...you can get that reverse cone from http://www.coneeng.com/ for less. That is where Cycle X and DCC get them from.

I am thinking the Winning was more like 40 - 70 less than Kerker.
Hookerchrome 4-1 cost about 125 or so in1975 up here..

George...you can get that reverse cone from http://www.coneeng.com/ for less. That is where Cycle X and DCC get them from.

I haven't seen my exhaust anywhere on this list. I happen to already know that it is a Kerker, it has the stamp on the mounting plate, but I wouldn't mind knowing more about it if there is anything interesting to know.

Some one else on the forum scored a bike with one of these pipes on it within the last year or so. maybe he'll see this and post a more up to date picture with broken down details.

I believe this is the same header but a different collector/muffler?

Cadunkle: Yes yours are the Triple A spaghetti pipes. They had a long and short megaphone option. So yours is the short one. Still a Triple A pipe.

They are a 4-2 crossover design with an integrated fiberglass baffle. They are nice and rumbley at idle, sound almost like a subaru under load and you can hear them from a mile away. And they still don't hurt my ears.

Bumping this, I also have what looks like the same headers but different muffler.. Anyone know who made these?

I like the thread. I have one to add. this came on my 74 750. the header is unmarked but the muffler has "Jardine" stamped in the stay that goes to the footpeg bracket. the whole exhaust is very close to the Kerker systems aswell

I'm trying to ID or gather any info I can on my 750 K3 exhaust. I'm planning on pulling it to polish and I was going to install fresh copper gaskets and replace the old allen head bolts with new ones (stainless?). Since these are not stock headers, is this mounting method OK? According to the parts fiche, the K3 headers mounted with phillips screws (8x22) -- I guess someone just replaced with allen head? Also, it did not come with the joints (outer fancy looking flange) -- am I OK mounting these like they are without them? And if it helps for ID, the muffler does have a removable baffle secured by an allen head.

The early CB750s had spigots in the head held in by the flat head Phillips. Then the pipe slipped over the spigots and was held on by the finned clamps. Then aftermarket pipe people changed that to removing the spigot, inserting the header straight into the head and holdinng it on with a flange on the header and 2 bolts (allens or whatever) run into the holes where the phillipis used to go to hold the spigots in.

Either works fine. Honda converted away from the spigots later on anyway.
