Didn't look like anyone posted this one so . MIVV stainless 4-4 system for cb350f/400f
Those look pretty good -- do you have a link or more info?
No link since they don't make them anymore. They were made by MIVV in Italy, they required cutting the old mufflers off or you could purchase headers. They stopped making the headers awhile ago. There was a few sellers about 6 years ago that had a few of them. You can still find them every few month on Foreign ebay sites from time to time but expect to pay +750 dollars. I did notice a little weaker power then with my Mac 4-1 or my Marving 4-2 exhaust but that is just what you get with 4-4 exhausts. Never the less the MIVV system is by far the best looking and fitting exhaust system that I have. Honestly fits better then the stock one. Has a very nice sound, not loud just super clean.
I agree -- they look great. I'd consider them for my 350F but the cost might be a bit much for me to consider right now.
When I bought my 350F in Phoenix in 1997, it had a rotted out 4-2 something-or-another. I went to a junkyard in Rye, and found a set of stock 4-4 pipes and a stock 400F 4-1, which I knew would fit. He wanted $120 or $150 or something for each. Should have bought both, but went with the 400F, then learned I needed the pegs and shifter and brake, but that's how it has sit since '97. I went back only a year or two later and the guy wanted $400 for them, IIRC. Still should have paid it. Went back again and the price had gone up. Then most of the yard went up in flames in 2013. He had gotten crazy to work with, crazy prices, never selling anything, and super erratic behavior. Most of us suspected he was making meth. After the fire, a PHX yard bought everything that was salvageable and let me have a first look. The pipes were in an area that was completely burned up. Still kick myself over letting them go the first time. Such a cool looking exhaust on the small four.
