The stuck part is usually piston rings to the cylinder. I've never seen one to stick a crank/rods except when oiling has failed and that should be obvious in the history of the motor.
Still a quick disassembly, and or thourough cleaning might ease the mind.
Once you get the cyls and pistons off you'll be able to move the rods and turn the crank and tell if it was involved in a problem. I think.
