Honda cb750 '78 cafe racer seat
« on: November 03, 2011, 07:39:36 PM »
Hey everyone,

Just wondering can anyone recommend me a nice cafe racer seat?
I'm looking for a style that look likes benji's dolphin cafe seat.

However, I'm looking for one that is very comfortable!
So any recommendations of comfortable cafe seats will be awesome thanks!

Cafe and comfortable usually don't belong in the same sentence.  ;)  I have built many and none were "comfortable" they were tolerable, even OK.  The Cafe' seat, by original design and intent, is lightweight, thin, and a compromise.

lwitchey is a member here and has designed a 77'-78' CB750 specific seat that compliments the tank lines on these later models:

Comfort would depend upon the shape and thickness of the seat pad you decide to use.

Thanks for the detailed replies guys!

Man... so not really much comfort in going the cafe racer road huh?

Guess I'll have to be uncomfortable in style hahaha

Thanks once again for the posts guys I'm going through each and every one of them!
