Ducati engine paint
« on: November 05, 2011, 07:29:23 PM »
I'm still kicking around paint/polish ideas for my CB550 project and I kinda like the paint on some of the newer Ducati engines. It's sort of a titanium/gold-ish color. It looks slightly different in each of these pics, but you get the idea.
There's a Ducati dealer near me, so I'll go check it out when I get a chance, but does anyone know what color it is? Is there anything close that's available from VHT, etc.?

I'm not sure the process Ducati uses, I suspect it's an anodized finish of some sort. Doesn't seem to scratch to easily
on my ducks.
