Touring USA
« on: February 07, 2012, 05:14:45 AM »
I know this is not the place for this thread, but could not find any other places so I thought someone could point me into to a website or a recommodation.

I want to do MC riding in USA this summer with my son, but where? NOT route 66, too boring. Love twisty roads, mountains, valleys and nice roadhouses and accomodation etc. Will rent bike, not guided tours, for about one week.

Anyone place and state which would be a "Must"? Did Lake Tahoe and more in CA last year, was great.

Sorry for not throwing anything about SOCH 4's in this thread, but maybe saying I will rather rent/buy two vintage Honda's for the trip will help ;)

Have you seen this thread?

http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=100752.0

Another sohc4 member from Denmark is making a similar trip to the U.S., and there are a lot of good suggestions for places to go and routes to take.

Hello Srust58,

Thanks for your great advice, this looks like an awsome place to go, both on MC or by car with my family. All four of us is coming over in July, then my son and I will have a week on Mc by ourselves. Your advice will defenitely be on our table as we plan the holiday. Thanks again!
