It's kinda funny but I bought and installed a set of these back in the 70's on one of my 750s. After installing them I didn't like the difference in ride that they gave. The other mechanic that worked at the Honda dealership really liked the looks of them and I sold the wheels to him for his 750. He was just getting ready for a ride to Taladega for a race and put them on before he left. He was traveling down one of the interstates on his way to the race and the rear wheel actually came apart. He was able to get the bike into the median and get it stopped and did not go down, but when he finally stopped and looked at the wheel he found a section about 6 inches long near the bead had blown out. We had to put his old wheel on a bus to get it delivered to him so he could get back home. Needless to say as soon as he got back he removed the front one also.
