I like the vertical plate holder... Here in South Dakota we can have no signals, flashing blue lights, but we can not mount a plate any other way than landscape... Go figure? Great job Proteal55.

I will get some new pictures up with the updated engine and tranny and the new exhaust system.  I am so happy with the results of the bike.  I just need to get the carbs finalized and it will be 100%

Thanks for all of the kind words.

This bike took the effort of a few good friends to get it to the state that it currently sits.  I need to give credit where credit is due.  Joe Caccavella(ProTeal) for the inspiration, Chris Mcdade (Dubs) for the paint, Danny Hasselcamp (the Rican) for a couple of the off the wall ideas, Eric Blattert (guy on this board that powdercoats) for all of the powdercoated parts,  and my hard work to make this bike what it is today.  I am so happy with the results.  I am amazed at the results and what this bike has become from what it started as.  I apologize to all of the people that really got choked up with the paint but it had to go.  I hope that I can put it up for the bike of the month and be a solid contender!!!!

The "Chicago Special" lights are outta the Drag Specialties catalogue. After much looking they are the smallest housing that hold 1157 bulbs..They are actually "designed" as an accent light for Baggers, but work really really well for small bikes like this as running/brake lights. They house a standard 1157 dual filament bulb, and the lens shows off the entire bulb so they are bright as hell. I have them on my CB750 as well as the almost done CB450 project.

Hey Joe, regards the longer swing arm, I recently picked up a F2 and noticed the arm is a few inches longer than the K.
It would I think mean a little work on the brake anchor point but it would look better than the welded arm you got off Dennis.

I have decided not to put an ext. arm on my CB750. The more I look at the bike the more I like the short/stubby/compact look it has going.
And for the record, Dennis gave me that swingarm for nothing. I won't give that guy another nickel of my money ...

Well don't lose any sleep over it.  The tires would have rotted off the thing by now.

It seems you spend a lot of time here digging up old stuff.
