Emgo Ignition switch repair kit. Someone who has tried them, do they work?
I have read about the Emgo ignition switches here :( but what about the Emgos base unit only?
That's the part I need. It's for a cb500k3 77"
Or is it better to buy the whole ignition switch made by NGK or Jmt instead.
Thanks advance.

If its aftermarket repair kit is same quality as complete switch! Make sure it fits tight and maybe use isulation tape to help hold it on as bake in the day the common fault was for that block to fall off the barrel

Ok, thank you.
On another bike I've used a thinner zip tie to help it (the original oem contact) to stay in place firmly.

I will use that on this too.

Yes a lot better than tape. Not much goes wrong with the key part.
I don't know about the 500 do you need a relay or will those contacts hold the current load?
