So you think you had a bad day?
« on: November 10, 2011, 11:53:14 PM »
I had to get up at 4am for work, my dickhead neighbours thought last night would be good for partying...all night!  Rang "Noise Control" at 11pm as there was no way I could sleep, by midnight I'm beside myself so I storm across the road in nothing but my dressing gown and bash on their door, a dope head arrives eyes all blood shot, "TURN THAT F*CK'N #$%* DOWN OR ELSE"  I yelled at them in my sleep deprived state, dope head one looks at the next plonker and they can't seem to make up their tiny minds, "I SAID TURN IT DOWN OR I'LL WRECK YOUR STEREO FOOL"!  By now it has dawned on them taht I am a little pissed with them and they turn it down. By 3am they have forgotten about the angry old fool across the road and up goes the volume again. I ring noise control again and register a complaint, since I can't sleep I might as well do something usefull so I start bashing out a letter to the local council then I think hey that is a Housing Corp house they are in, I google HCNZ and make a complaint there too!  When I got home from work today there are 3 emails and a phone message from the council, they have put a 72 hour direction on that address, any loud noises will see them lose their stereo and they get a $500 fine.....don't f*ck with Hush, he is too old and tired to fight clean but he will get you! ;D
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Copy of the email I sent to the local council...hey I was dog tired but I can still write. ;)

Good morning, it is now 23.55 and I have to get up for work at the

prison at 0400hours, my neighbours have been playing exceedingly loud

duf duff heavy bass music all day and it has become louder and louder.

This used to be a quiet street until the housing corp dropped their

latest bunch of benefit recipients across the road at 21 Neal Crescent,

we have had to put up with gangs, drug dealers and young men who

mistakenly believe that our street is a raceway for their lowered noisy

vehicles.

If I cannot get enough sleep to go to work, I cannot pay my taxes to

keep these people in the lifestyle they have come to believe is their right!

Nor can I pay my rates which pays for things like Noise Control.

Upon ringing the Noise Control number I am told I will need to put up

with this for another 30 minutes!

Why why why must I put up with this horrible noise that is keeping me

awake for another 30 minute, is it so they can sober up or find some good

taste in music?

I am a highly trained Prison Officer (18 years) and have spent the last

26years learning Karate, it would seem that the easier solution would be

to march across the road and beat the living crap out of these dopey morons!

However as I need to follow this procedure I shall be ringing ever night

at the first instant sound pierces my walls!

If I can find Mayor Barbara Arnott's home phone number I shall ring her

on a nightly basis too so she may be equally deprived of sleep!

Like wise any member of the Council will receive my calls so they too

can share my pain.

I feel sure that one or two visits from the security group that are

employed by the NCC would suffice to bring this rabble to heal and even

let their poor children get some sleep as well.

30 minutes, why?

Do you think I'm imagining this torment!

Update: It's now 0015hours and I have paid my neighbours a visit, all

stoned off their tiny minds!

Note to self: Visit Housing Corp today and complain to them.
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Go get'em Hush!

Sorry you had to go through this...
The one think my sleep apnea machine is good for is white noise to help drown out the noise of the loud talking bar patrons who are outside smoking or drinking or both at the pub about 100-200 yards down the alley way.

I hope you get this resolved peacefully.  Maybe someone from the power company could turn off their power for lack of payment at an appropriate time of day to leave them powerless at night.

Hang in there...they can't all be bad days.

haha, good work Dave!
And good work Hush - there's nothing worse than this crap - it never ceases to amaze me how inconsiderate so many people are....I would be too embarrassed to disturb the neighbourhood like that.

Same here, where we used to live it was students at the end of the term partying at the beach, pissed up, doped up, had one where I went three times to ask them to turn down their #$%*ty music (country/headbanger) called the cops 4 times, nothing, no one did dick all, so started thinking about artillery simulators at 5 in the morning just as they were laying down their heads but realized that the little old lady behind us would probably have a coronary, that and not being able to lay my hands on the big bangs.

Reminds me of when the wife and were first married and living in an a 2 story apartment building.  When we first moved in the building was filled with old widows in their 70's and 80's.  Nice and quiet.  About 2 years later the widow who lived below us passed away and some young punk moved in.  Of course he brought his stereo with him.  After putting up with the music starting about 10pm,  I was on my way down the stairwell when I met my next door neighbor who was on his way to the same place.  We beat on his door.  When he opened it with a "What do you want?", we asked him to turn it down.  He responded with a "F#$k you"  and tried to slam the door.  When his eyes opened, he was looking at the ceiling in his living room.  He moved out a few days later.  When some of the other older ladies asked how we got him to leave we responded "It's all in the way you ask".

Yep, been there.

Across the street is a mostly abandoned trailer that the Grandmother
allows the grandkids to use to party all hours of the day/night.

After talking to the grandkids they turned it down a bit.
Neighbors on both sides are afraid of these "kids" as they are all
very big and usually drunk, but are afraid of me for some reason.  8)

There is no Hell on earth quite like a bad neighbor! We lived next to an 80 year old woman and had no problems. Then she passed and a couple moved in with two teens. One of them went to college but the daughter got knocked up and moved her botfriend in. She had twins followed 10 months later by another baby. They had a bulldog and an English Mastiff. All this in a two bedroom house! We had a whole summer when we could not use the back yard due to a year's worth of dog dirt piled up everywhere. Along with the drunken arguing and the frequent police visits it was a real blast! Thank God they moved out!

I've already moved along drug dealers and gang members in my street (most I actually got sent to jail)  ;D so these muppets won't be too much trouble but it certainly annoys me especially when it is us tax payers who are funding their freeloading lifestyle of unemployment benefits and solo mothers benefits. It's been a funny 2 days, yesterday I got home from work and there were 5 youngsters across the road defacing a powerbox with grafitti (which I do not consider a form of art) so I go inside and pick up the first phone I come to which is a dead hands free, pull back the curtain so they can well see me and appear to be chatting, turn the phone around like you would taking a photo with your cellphone, well two ran off another 2 hid behind a tree and started exchanging clothes so they couldn't be recognised from my photo (I'm a bit disturbed that kids this young have enough street rat cunning to do this?) and the 5th actually came up my driveway and asked to speak to me. He had the most balls and apologised for his mates, promised to return the next day to remove their marks. I told him hey that's all good but the cops are on their way, he runs out and yells to the others that they better get home as the Police are coming ha ha ha...........made my day after such a crap start to it. :) Like I said, don't mess with Hush, I've had too many years dealing with much worse offenders and I know how to play with their heads.

Hey Hush I'm surprised you didn't think of the best revenge! Take your biggest bike, remove any muffler or baffling and sit out in front of their house and rev for about 20 minutes. All at 0345 in the morning. Nothing like waking up to a racket with a hang over.

Ha ha plonkers also had a CB750 DOHC on the front lawn and every now and then they would go out and start it up and rev the #$%*e out of it, had it been a SOHC I might have offered to save it's life, obviously as no one actually rode it they couldn't take it off the main stand!

Been awful quiet in y street for the last couple of days! Wonder why? ;D

Remember my good riddance thread awhile back? What really got to me was after numerous visits from Sheriffs, nothing was ever done. The jerks finally moved out, and a decent couple bought the place. Their dog barks sometimes, but he usually shuts up after a mild scolding. Life is much better these days! :D

Sounds like methheads, I never thought people could be more annoying than cokeheads until I met people strung out on meth.

Truly annoying people, and dangerous after the 4th or 5th day they have been awake.

Seems like meth has taken a back-seat to Oxy and Vicodin around these parts.

Jezz I may move, last night some dickhead backed into my daughters car and left without stopping, rear door is a bit second hand on her lovely little blue Suzuki Swift. Second time this year from same address, just goes to show that scum can't drive!
