Thanks,the next challenge is the wiring. The project I bought came with the CycleX Power Arc setup. Also, I'm going to run the Grip Ace setup on my handlebars to get rid of all the hand switches.I like Exile Cycles stuff, and they carry their grips for 7/8 bars and sell them already machined for the Grip Ace system. Does anyone have any suggestions for an aftermarket clutch perch and throttle tube? Preferably something cool looking, maybe even for motocross bikes. I've been looking, but I can only find clutch perches but no matching throttle setup. I going to use the stock brake master cylinder.

Update. Got the wiring pretty much licked. Still waiting on paint. Here are some updated pics with the Grip Ace setup. I like the way the bars turned out with no switches....

Update! Wiring is done. Most of the paint is done, but it is going to redone I was not happy with quality of the job. Bike is running. Got the velocity stacks. Sync'd the carbs. I'm taking the bike tomorrow to get the seat done and then it's back to paint to do the seat and redo the rest. Here are some pics.

I forgot to mention, I bought some Joker Machine parts. You can see the gas cap and the axle adjusters and brake rod nut. Not pictured is the horn bracket. I'm very pleased with quality of the Joker Machine parts. Next up is to get some repop gauges from CycleX. That will finish it off. I also contacted Micheal Woulfe of Woulfe leathers www.rockerjackets.com to do a HONDA treatment on a vintage Cafe style leather jacket that I picked up for $20.00 at a swap meet.

Beautiful mate! I know what you mean about the JM stuff - it's pretty nice quality and great for guys like me who are better with a screwdriver then with a milling machine or welder.

Really nice results there. Silver pin stripe would tie it all together nicely.
