tt,
Will your wife ride on one of those 4 wheelers ? They look like fun.  :) Is that the town of Chloride ?

Yup. The 350 wolverine is hers. Hard to keep up with her also!  :o

OK Jag, since you won't shoot me a PM with your email address  I found a set of bag mounts with key for $87.00 plus ship. Waiting on pics.

I'll edit this post when I get them. I have bought parts from this guy and they are in nice condition.

I think im going to hold off on looking for bags right now.  Still need to get the bike buttoned up, new tires and a new rear shock.
I am interested in the sync gauges.
Got a pic and price on those?

Those are sold.

No worries on the bags and bag rails.

Just got her delivered 30 minutes ago. Long day but worth the wait.

She is home! Dirty but in my garage none the less.  ;D

This morning before heading out the door for Jury Duty I wiped the CBX down. No deep cleaning as of yet but looking better all the time. Saddlebags removed for inspection.

Tomorrow morning I'll go for a ride. Excited as it fired right up and idled perfectly when we got it out of the trailer.  8)

Wow....looks to be in great shape. Congrats.

Even the wife said "wow".  ;D (that's a good thing huh?)

Chrome cleaning tomorrow then off we go!  8)

What's best about it is it's all stock and nothing has been changed. Even has the covers on the rear of the horns. Sounds wonderful. Should run the same.

The luggage rack will come off down the road. Can't get into anything heavy until the fall. Already hitting 108 degrees so projects are limited due to "cool" time in the garage.

It's all good Steve-O! All good!

It's a wow!  Yeah, starting to get hot here too, but only to 90 this week. Last year we had sixty 100+ days, friggen hot.
Have you thought about adding ac to your garage?  I plan to put a ductless mini split in mine, probably not this year though.

Yes, I have been pricing them since last year. My biggest problem is running a 220 V line to the other end of the house.

The 110 V just does not have the cooling I would need out here. I'm only looking at 660 sq. feet plus the heat factor. Also want a high seer rating to save costs.

Still pondering and now it's hot. Only going to get hotter.

Jag, if you are reading this post I might sell the seat. It's a Corbin but recovered. It's pretty soft also so maybe a repadding was done.

Will see.

A little 43 mile shake down ride this AM. Bike runs just fine. Plenty of power than "wham", plenty more above 6000 RPM.

What a kick. Getting a parts list together for Fall teardown. Front fork seals leak pretty good and lower oil leak. I think it's around the lower oil line on the right side.

I'll inspect at a later date but all in all very happy with the purchase.

Tires are pretty new. He installed new chain and sprockets and went up one tooth in front. (I think that's what he told me) I need to call PO as I have a few more questions.  ;)

Dry weight was around 630 pounds if I remember correctly although it really doesn't feel it. Has a great seat height for me.

I was told that in 1981 Honda tuned them down to 105 HP as Germany had a 105 HP restriction. Previous were 110 HP.

Well, in 43 miles I did fall in love with the CBX. It will be a great bike for the other half and I. Plenty of room, storage, wind protection and power. Since it's been geared up a tooth highway riding will be perfect. I scored a three (3) month old Corbin with backrest and hardware for $369.00 on flea bay.

My neighbor told me it looks like a cop bike. We named it Smokey.  ;D

Can anyone tell me the valve stem size on a CBX? I was thinking 10 mm. Ordered a set of new tires and want to install the angled stems.

Thanks!
