« on: November 15, 2011, 09:54:24 AM »
Im only finding carb rebuild kits for 1974-76 and such for the 550. I may be just not looking in the right places. Any suggestions?

1974 was the first year for them. The tag on the neck of the frame might say 1973 but you want a 1974 carb rebuild kit..

wow... I knew that too. Must have been hung up on the 1973 tag when looking for the kit. Thanks for the wake up call.

Honda only offer a gasket set, not a rebuild kit. Gasket set for carbs is part # 16010-323-315 (need four) and they are still available from Honda. K & L offer a carb rebuild kit, part # 18-2422 that includes all jets, o rings and gaskets needed for one carb.

I have been getting ready to order a set myself and the $14.00 sets look enticing.  Parts-n-more didn't indicate brand, hopefully not Keysters.  K&L would be good.

Also recently found this EBay listing for kits.  Anyone know anything about this brand  "NAPCO"?
