Topic: Cafe Material?

I was offering this old fairing in trade for a cafe style fairing.  But I got a thought that maybe with a little trim here, little cutting there, I could make this one acceptable.  I played around on photoshop cutting down the windshield and taking some off the wings.  I won't show that because I was not happy with what I had done.  Anyone have ideas?

That looks like a nice fairing.  It would be a shame to cut it up.  I think you'll have a lot easier time selling it and then buying a fairing you want rather than trying to find someone to trade with.

+1 that is a nice vintage fairing and a "cafe" correct fairing, if there is such a thing, will be cheaper allowing you to pocket some cash for paint and such.

It is covered on the outside with some leather-like covering.  Someone called it pleather. Even has stitches.  Old Shoei, Pacifica?

Yeah guy, I wouldn't cut that bad boy. I'm sure you could get a few bucks for it on ebay of craigslist.

Don't cut it.  Too nice as it is.  Sell it and buy what you want...or do what I do and keep it and but what you want ;-)
