EMP proof cb750?

Does anybody know how we could make our simple carburated motorcycles emp(electro magnetic pulse) resistant/proof?

Build it its own little Faraday Cage. However, I think we will have bigger problems than our beloved bikes.  ;)

EMP screws up silicon junctions.  The only ones in the stock bike are in the rectifier, and with some models the neutral light circuit.  So, you'd need a cage/sheild around that.  And shield the electrical wiring to it, as well.
If you have electronic ignition, the silicon in that can fry.  So, either dump that, or have a points plate spare to slap on after it quits.

Mostly you have to keep the wiring shielded so the pulse can't generate a voltage within the signal or power carrying wires.

I tested some metals once and steel seemed to shield EMP's best due to it's magnetic properties. Like the distributor shield on an older vette. Tin foil made of real tin?

I'm all set up with my own tin hat to keep out the EMP's.
