Topic: Sturgis on the River

yeah, yeah I know the name reeks of H-D nuts and sagging leather breasts, but I'm going to be back in the old hometown of Davenport, IA this weekend to go to this rally.  If you've never been to the Quad Cities or been to a street festival by the river you should check it out if you're within riding distance.  There are lots of Harleys of course but metrics and even vintages are well represented.  At the very least it's a good excuse to check out a new place and hang out with some midwest bikers next to the mighty Mississippi.

I may go in lew of the Illinois ride. Who knows. I do know that I do not get to do too many shows and rides and the ones I do must count. The summer is 1/2 over and I have less than 1,000 miles on the new motor, only 2 bike nights and no organized rides in yet.  Same distance, same problems with $$$$
