Greetings from Boulder CO!
« on: November 18, 2011, 05:03:05 PM »
Hey folks,

First-time poster but some-time lurker, mostly of the inspiring work of both Tweakin' and brandEn -- all 40-something pages of their builds, and I'm now diving in to Wohali's super tight rebuild. All amazing stuff.

Somewhere around 1992 or '93 I picked up a CL 360 from a girl I knew; "fixed" it up by cleaning out the carbs and spray painting the tank what I would call "sewage brown"; and since then I've been hooked on Hondas. I was never very good at fixing them -- I didn't try to hard, plus it was before the internet, come on!

Traded the 360 for a 1978 CB750F, which has been in various states of built and un-built since 1995 or '96. Finally getting around to piecing and parting and cleaning and honing now that the winter's setting in, and consider myself lucky to have found this forum.

Thanks already to the many, many posters and their advice; and thanks in advance for helping with the many, many questions I'm sure to have about my rebuild -- which you can read about here.

Phil

Hey Jerry, thanks for the welcome. Beautiful '75 you have there, hope to see it in person after I get my younger model up and running.

Thanks. I hope to see it in one piece soon. It's been undergoing a restore and upgrade for the last year. Life has gotten in my way  :)

Jerry: I know the feeling. Impending holidays plus a wrenched back has killed any rest plans for the next week or so. Guess this is supposed to teach me patience...

Paul: Thanks, nice to see another F in Colorado!
