Member of the Year?
« on: December 13, 2011, 07:23:30 PM »
We have Bike of the Month, Bike of the Year. Would it be inappropriate to recognize a member who has contributed to this virtual club of ours? Your thoughts please.

Bobby, I get the idea, but "member" of the year?  ;D ;D, we gotta have a different name!

Seriously, it is appropriate, but how do we decide?  Most posts, best tecchnical posts, most entertaining, etc.

I've read that you're the originator of the "babe" thread (hours of enjoyment), so I nominate you!!  :)

Thanks, but I was kind of thinking about Jerry RX for getting the Rally going. That was a crapload of work. The Babe thread is easier and more enjoyable. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'll second Jerry. No one has done as much as him to make this rag-tag bunch of Honda nuts a more cohesive group. Cheers for Jerry! :)

He gets my vote, first runner-up would have to be the member that rode the furthest with GZ, I read his posts and the distances were incredible for such an old machine, puts some of the  modern bikes to shame. :)
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

IMHO, catagories would be good. Here's one to think about:
Glenn Stauffer. Not to take any accolades from others who truly deserve them, but Mr. Stauffer has been involved from the beginning, so he's a big reason why we're here. The other MODS deserve recognition as well. Other catagories would be fun too.
