Screen Name for this site

I am curious as to why you have chosen your screen name for thsi site.

As for me, I used Tews19. It originates from my days in high school playing sports. Friends, coaches and teachers started to call me Tews. Short for my last name . 19 comes from my football number and my lucky number to this date. Nothing to sentimental. But I have been called Tews since I was 16

Mine is easy, its my first name. I made the E uppercase because my name is spelled Branden not Brandon and people have been misspelling it my whole life.

This question is probably for guys like me, whose screen name isn't so obvious.

So, as a former Honda parts guy, it was clear to me what to use.  All Honda parts have 3 sections.  The first is 5 digits, telling what type of part(air filter, gas tank...).  The second part is a 3 digit number or letters denoting what bike the part was originally designed for.  The center code "333" is for my bike, a CB350F.  And to finish the description of the part number, the third part is for many things like color of painted pieces, supercede's, manufacturer changes, and jet sizes.  Standard screws, bolts, and nuts have a totally different numbering system.

The avatar?  That's a story for another night, kids.

I was dubbed  "Magpie" by a friend after having a chance to go through an obsolete parts area of a local shop. Anything with -300- in it I grabbed. The dictionary definition is "a person who collects trivial objects" would seem to apply except I would add the word "shiny". It's also one of the most intelligent birds but I'm not sure he knew about that. Noisy and talkative too, that's me after a few refreshments. ;D

333 and Magpie, both have the similarities with the 300 parts. Very cool. Interesting thread so far. Gordon, your parents are genius. Did they invent the internet?

There are 2 reasons I chose "shark" for my user name.

1) My uncle has been calling me shark my whole life.

2) Grumpy (my nickname) was taken.

Its a very expensive build that i am still in the process {bloody slow one} of buying parts. Leaving no stone unturned on this one, lots of one off parts that have been and have to be custom fabbed. I have most of it but there's still some trick bits to come. I don't have a lot of room to do the build so until i have everything it stays in boxes.... :-[

Used to work a couple restaurants here in Dallas.  As you might imagine we had quite a few hombres working the back of the house, clean up, etc.  Good guys, and they took a liking to me because I speak Spanish pretty well (and cause when they gave me #$%* I'd always fire it right back at 'em. Fun times).  Anyhow, none of them could pronounce my name "Kyle," it would come out more like "Coy-oh."  Coy-oh, Coy-oh....Coy-oh-tay!!! Arooooooooo!!!!  And from then on I've been Coyote (pronounced the PROPER way, coy-oh-tay).
