Could anyone tell me where to get replacement tappets for my 400F?
The usual suppliers seem not to have them in stock.

Are you talking about the screw part?  Honda has them.

Honda in the UK can't supply them and David Silver has none in stock.
I understand that CNS in Holland can supply them so I'll order from them.

I don't know what CMS charges, but they are pretty cheap here.
