Yeh, this one is pretty old news - I reckon good on the big kid.
The little kid and his parents were on the current affairs shows sooking about being decked, but generally the public sided with the big kid. Good on him.

When I was that age I got bullied a bit by a kid down the street, and one day he beat me up. I went home and hid in the bushes waiting for him to go past on his push bike. Eventually he came by and I sprung out from the bushes from the side and pushed him off his bike while he was doing about 20 mph or so - little sh*t never bullied me again. Man, he lost a lot of skin  ;D

Hey peter, this was big news down there? How long if recall was the kid getting picked on? Thats one thing I never got into was bullying. I was told never to start a fight or pick on those who are unable to protect themself. The big kid did the right thing IMO....

If you can also recall, what did the parents of the kid who got slammed say?

This was retaliation for ongoing bullying. The big kid is a bit mentally "slow" and just lost it but he got his revenge.
It was BIG news mate, on all the current affairs shows, news etc and caused quite an outcry and focused on protecting kids at school etc - it really brought the problem to attention. Of course the media loved stirring the pot cos they had vision of it and played it over and over.
The little kids parents were banging on about their boy hadn't done anything wrong etc etc and that the big kid should be punished...yeh right.
If I recall correctly, it all just faded away and the big kid got left alone.
