CB750 K2 camshaft
« on: November 22, 2011, 12:09:27 AM »
I was contacted by a guy who had a Honda CB 750 K2 back in the days when they were new. He told me he was riding it pretty hard and one day the camshaft simply broke. A friend of him replaced the camshaft and after that, the bike was running stronger than before. So, this guy asked me if Honda used different camshafts on some of the CB 750 K models standard factory setup K0 up to K6? I haven’t heard they had different camshafts, but maybe he got a camshaft for a CB 750 SS? Were they sharper? Any comments, guys?

Yes, apparently the very early k0 had hotter cams.
