Welcome to the world of videos of other people's cats and other people hurting themselves or doing stupid/dangerous things in/on vehicles.   The real benefit of a high-speed connection, for me at least, is streaming video (and not just porn ).  Between Netflix, Hulu, and iTunes, we get all the shows we want, on demand, and for far less than we'd pay for the same options from the cable company.

It's not often this happens, but my ISP has just reduced my monthly bill by $10 & doubled my d/load limit to 100,000MB.
I was really surprised when I got that email.

man i look like a deer in headlights right now where i live we do not get cable, dish networking is useless so i'm went with mercury wireless it's fricking awsome i can't get away from the computer and when i do i'm watching netflik my son set everything up. i was supossed to work on my bikes tonight. but that is not happening. i can't believe all the crap i was missing

Dayummmm!!! Didn't think they still had dial-up! (AOL..............woah!!!). I lived in the boonies a coupla years back and had this Wild Blue dish set-up. It was fast but it was like $50 per month. I don't think I could ever do dial-up again. It would be like going back to black & white TV or having to get off my a$$ to change the channel (isn't that one of the reasons people have children???)...........
