The "Tail of the Dragon" motorcycle trip is less than three weeks away the 999R can't be late for it's date.

999R has a date with the Dragon!

Branden,

I'm shipping the crate complete with bike, riding gear and luggage required for the week to a client of mine so I can fly in and ride out.
The little trap door is the cordless drill compartment. When I get there, I pop out the drill, unscrew the lid, drop the ramp, and change into riding gear and blast.
Everything gets loaded back in the crate after a week of riding North Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky, and shipped back home.

I think id turn the little trap door to the inside, add a cooler and a 5 gallon bucket and ride the crate down with the bike, ;)

Looks like the trip just got a lot easier, be safe and enjoy

I haven't done the Dragon but that video reminds me of the northern end of CA1 right before it intersects with 101. Rhythm baby rhythm! I still am very thankful to Sean Condon for that day!
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Nice work Jim.  I am so envious of you it hurts!  Have a wonderful, safe trip and do a good job documenting with photos and video so us less fortunate folk can live thru you.

Ride safe Jim.
