71 cb750 dual disk conversion question?

i have a 71 cb750k that i am going to try to convert to dual disk. i just got the caliper and brackets in today and noticed that their is a slight offset to them. on the left hand side where the stock brakes are the offset is away from the wheel but on the right side where the second disk will be the mount will offset it twards the wheel. will this be a problem or is that what all the extra washers are ment for?
