Lowering Kits/Links/Blocks
« on: May 04, 2010, 07:11:08 AM »
I am seriously thinking about putting a lowering kit on my '81 CB650. I read mixed reviews on it already and I figured I'd give it a shot. I had also considered going with some struts but decided against it. My only problem now is finding a lowering kit that will actually fit my bike. Does anyone have any ideas of where I can go to find one?

Having owned many different styles of lowering blocks for my 750, in the end I've gone to shorter shocks instead.

If I did decide to go with shorter shocks; what is the lowest I could safely go?

I'm not sure about the 650 but the shorty shocks I got for my 750 are 11.5 inches in stead of the stock 13, so about an inch and a half drop there.
